Description
The MEPS Monitor 50/EU with Fence Terminator is a microprocessor-controlled electric fence monitoring unit designed to continuously monitor the return voltage of an electric fence. Compatible with most electric fence energizers, it detects fence faults such as wire cuts, shorts, or reduced fence voltage, providing fast alarm activation for improved perimeter security.
Using advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and opto-isolation technology, the Monitor 50/EU accurately analyzes high-voltage return pulses of up to 15kV, minimizing false alarms while protecting sensitive electronic components from high-voltage interference. A 10-segment LED bar graph displays fence return voltage from 10% to 100%, allowing quick visual assessment of fence performance.
The monitor includes a fence terminator, warning strobe output, 12V siren output, dry relay contacts for alarm integration, and an auxiliary input for devices such as gate magnetic contacts. It can also be configured to trigger a radio transmitter or remote monitoring device, making it suitable for residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural electric fencing systems.
